Planning Applications received by NSC – 22nd to 26th June 2020

The parish council have been made aware of  two planning applications received by North Somerset Council for properties in Blagdon during the week commencing 22nd June 2020:

  • Blagdon 20/P/1245/FUH Gannet Cottage Park Lane Blagdon Bristol BS40 7SB – Proposed erection of a dormer roof extension over existing first floor window on side elevation and new front porch. Case Officer Janet Jones comments by – 17 August 2020
  • Blagdon 20/P/1297/FUL Pooracre ,Bath Road, Blagdon, BS40 7RW – Refurbishment of the main house, the part demolition and replacement of the existing rear extensions, replacement of the barn in the garden with new annex accommodation, creation of a new carport on the current parking area, and amendments to the existing vehicle entrance. 7 August 2020

Covid – 19 – Parish Update

In response to the latest national guidance Blagdon Parish Council today (24th March 2020) closed the Play Area and Gym on The Mead until further notice.

The Mead remains open for individual exercise but no group activities are permitted. The Public Toilets also remain open for passing key workers and individuals using The Mead.

The allotments remain open and can be accessed by plot holders. Any visitors to the Allotments or Cemetery must adhere to national Social Distancing guidance.
